We believe in:
- A city where discrimination has no place.
- Equal rights and opportunities for all people.
- A society in which everyone can participate and help shape the future.
- Respectful coexistence in which no one is devalued.
Discrimination has no place in our city – democracy thrives on participation and diversity.
Would you like to make a difference and contribute your ideas for more democracy and diversity, in Tübingen? Then the project TAKT – Tübingen aktiv gegen Diskriminierung (Tübingen is Active Against Discrimination) is the right place for you – become part of our partnership for democracy.
By promoting equality, diversity, and participation, you are strengthening the democratic culture in our city. With your commitment, you can contribute to raising awareness of equality, enabling participation, bringing democratic values to life in practice, and empowering people who have experienced discrimination so that they can exercise their rights and participate actively in social life. Your projects help to make Tübingen an open, supportive, and democratic city.
Associations, organizations, empowerment groups, initiatives, and companies can apply for financial support for their ideas. To apply, you need a sponsoring organization, which can be either an independent, non-profit organization, e.g., a registered association, or a company.
Funding is available for projects that actively address forms of discrimination such as racism, ableism, queerphobia, classism/poverty, or intersectionality, raise awareness of these issues, or use their own experiences of discrimination as a starting point for their engagement.
In 2026, there will be a special focus on projects that deal with the issues of classism and poverty as well as the interaction of different forms of discrimination.
In 2026, we will support projects with up to €7,500.
Applications will be submitted via the Pengueen portal starting in 2026. To do so, please send an email to Jakob Reineke at jakob [dot] reineke [at] adis-ev [dot] de. You will then receive a registration link to the portal where you can submit your application. No registration links can be sent between December 24 and January 7.
Please read the checklist for applicants before submitting your application!
